2022 is a special year for our company: we celebrate the 70th anniversary of Weingrill, a leading company in the production of components for the paper industry and screw jacks for numerous industrial applications. We have grown up in a constantly evolving world and we have always been able to find new ideas and tools to keep up with all the news of the different sectors in which we operate.
It was 1952 when the engineer Zeno decided to establish Costruzioni Meccaniche Weingrill Ing. Zeno S.r.l. in Pinerolo and since its inception the company has shifted from the design and fabrication of electro-mechanical devices to high technology components for the paper industry. There have been many successes and goals achieved. We have invested in state-of-the-art production facilities in order to offer customized solutions based on customer needs. In 1989 we moved to San Secondo di Pinerolo, where we still are: rooted in the Pinerolo area, we have always believed in the value of the territory in which we were born and raised.
Over the years, the company has continued to encourage the training of its staff, as well as to increase the research and development activities. A great recognition came in 1997 with the ISO 9001 quality certification.
Other than expanding into the paper industry sector, in the early 2000’s we began producing special mechanical jacks for the metallurgical, oil and offshore industries. Our field of application and expertise has expanded not only in Italy but also abroad thanks to the continuous support provided by our widespread sales network.
Today, Weingrill's production is known all over the world: high standards in terms of reliability and technology have made us appreciated by over 3000 customers in 30 different countries. We continue to strive every day to be a value-creating company, a real driving force for the growth of other industries with a high level of competitiveness in the market.
